Legal notice
Draft pending counsel review. Last updated 4 October 2026. This page explains what ACL is and is not. It is not legal advice.
Independent and fictional
Africa Champions League (ACL) is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or licensed by any football confederation, federation, league, club or player, or by any basketball or motorsport body, club, team or athlete.
All clubs, teams, leagues, divisions, players, drivers, coaches, staff, referees, officials, venues, circuits and trophies shown or described on this site are fictional and exist only in the ACL game world. Names are made up by combining lists of African given names and family names. If a name, club or place happens to match a real one, that is a coincidence and no connection is meant.
Where the project stands
ACL is at the concept stage. Nothing described on this site is live, on sale or available to play. There is no playable game, app, store listing or shop today. Dates on the site are provisional, and the 2026-27 season has not started: every table is at zero and no results exist.
Plans for platforms such as phones, PC and consoles are plans only. No platform company has approved or agreed to anything, and no release is promised.
Name and ownership
The name "Africa Champions League" is subject to trademark clearance. Company registration and ownership of rights are still being decided. Until that is settled, nothing on this site grants any licence to the ACL name, marks, artwork or data.
About the pictures
Pictures labelled "AI-generated concept art" were made with an AI image tool. They are not photographs and are not screenshots from a game. They show invented scenes and characters. Any resemblance to a real person, team or place is accidental. The legal position of AI-generated images (who owns them and how they may be used) is still being checked, so please do not copy or reuse them. The badges, tables and icons on the site are original drawings.
